OGGI RIFLESSO: The City Between Memory and Present
A city is never static. It is a fluid archive of memory and movement, where past and present converge in the rhythm of daily life. Each building, each street corner, each fleeting reflection in a shop window holds the whispers of histories untold and stories yet to unfold.
How do we position ourselves within this dynamic landscape? Are we simply passersby, absorbed by the digital hum of modernity, or are we active participants, shaping and being shaped by the spaces we inhabit?
A mirror—an object of simple reflection—becomes a portal, a medium for re-examining our relationship with the city. It does not just return our image; it invites us to perceive the environment anew, to see how space contours our presence and how our presence, in turn, animates space.
Through this performance and workshop, we ask: What happens when we no longer treat the city as a backdrop, but as a stage for dialogue, for movement, for shared experience? In the interplay of stillness and motion, observation and interaction, the body becomes an instrument of inquiry, tracing invisible lines between self and space.
Oggi Riflesso is an invitation to slow down, to engage, to let the city reflect back not just its form, but its soul. We invite you to explore urban memory as a living, breathing force—one that connects us across time and across boundaries, one that allows us to rediscover our place within the grand choreography of the metropolis.
Through this collaboration between Italia Oggi Milano, Social Design LVB, Laboratorio Silenzio, and T12 Lab, we seek to transform the urban environment into an open canvas, where participatory design and performative action converge. The city is not merely to be observed but experienced—shaped by movement, dialogue, and presence.

🔹 Laboratorio Silenzio
A performing arts collective specializing in silent expression and cross-sensory communication. Under the direction of Serena Crocco, the group explores social inclusion and intercultural dialogue through body language, immersive experiences, and participatory art. Their works merge visual arts, theater, and dance, breaking language barriers to create open spaces for interaction and self-expression.

🔹 T12 Lab
Led by Elisabetta Bianchessi, T12 Lab specializes in social design, public space, and urban regeneration, using non-verbal communication to foster inclusion. This performance debuted in 2023 in collaboration with T12-Lab at Tunnel Boulevard, extending its mission to explore memory and presence through the interaction of body and space, inviting audiences to break language barriers and engage in real-time urban interactions.
